About M & O
Maintenance & Operations (M & O) is responsible for maintaining and operating the following areas:
- Custodial Services
- General building cleaning
- Trash/garbage collection
- Furniture relocation
- Grounds Maintenance
- Pest and animal control
- Irrigation system maintenance
- Athletic field maintenance
- Landscape maintenance
- Building Maintenance/Repairs
- Heating, ventilation and air-conditioning (HVAC) system
- Electrical
- Painting/carpentry
- Plumbing
- Building exteriors
- Fleet vehicle maintenance/usage
M & O uses an online work order system to manage non-emergency campus facility needs. It should not be used for situations where someone's health and safety is at immediate risk. In this case dial 911 (8-911 from most campus telephones). The work order system is referred to as ASSET ESSENTIALS.
M & O Emergencies and Routing Work Orders
All facility emergencies, e.g. major water leaks, utility outages, sewer backups, immediate safety hazards, fallen trees, obstructed sidewalks, gas odors, or any situation that is a major impact to campus facilities/environment, should be called directly to the M & O office during our regular operating hours (6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.).:
