The mission of the CLPCCD Administrative Leadership Institute (CALI) is to develop
and strengthen effective, inclusive, and collaborative leaders by expanding institutional
knowledge, building leadership skills, fostering cross-District relationships, and
providing opportunities to apply learning to real organizational challenges.

To cultivate a connected community of administrators who lead with purpose, strengthen
organizational culture, and contribute to the continued growth and success of CLPCCD.
Program Goals
- Strengthen Leadership Capacity — Develop self-awareness, communication, decision-making, adaptability, accountability, and other practical leadership skills.
- Build Institutional Knowledge — Increase understanding of CLPCCD governance, organizational systems, Human Resources, resource stewardship, strategic planning, and institutional effectiveness.
- Develop People and Teams — Strengthen administrators' ability to coach, mentor, supervise, navigate difficult conversations, resolve conflict, and build trust.
- Advance Inclusive Leadership — Integrate Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, Accessibility, and Belonging (DEIAB) into leadership practices, organizational culture, and decision-making.
- Strengthen Cross-District Collaboration — Build meaningful relationships among administrators across Chabot College, Las Positas College, the District Office, and Economic Development and Contract Education.
- Put Leadership into Practice — Provide opportunities for participants to examine real leadership, team, process, and organizational challenges and apply their learning in their current roles.
